Has this ever been done? I don't mean the interactive unending adventure sites, I mean by one person or a closed group of people, producing a high quality novel length choose your own adventure for older readers (as aposed to the ones sold in stores for young kids)? I'm considering doing this. I have one complete plotline developed in overview (with branches to fifty or sixty other unwritten plots and lots more possible), and several pages of actual writing. I'm considering using quest ml (www.questml.com) as my adventure engine. I'm a computer geek and wannabe writer, and this strikes me as a fairly cool conjunction of book and technology. Has anyone tried this? Things to watch for? Stratagies for keeping my plots all sorted out? Anyone interested in joining me? This is all concept stuff; I hope to do a lot more work on it over our march break and much more while camping out over the summer.
I dunno but I"m interested too... lol... pointless post i know sorry...
Hehe. Hey, here's a question related only because it has to do with the subject matter of my CYOA. England was supposed to have switched completely over to the 24 hour clock, and most stations (IE the bbc etc) seem to use it. However, is it used in casual conversation? Would someone refer to themselves as, say, having an appointment at 14:00, or is the AM/PM system still used for that sort of thing? I need to know. Also, does anyone here live in Dryden Ontario? If you do, please private message me. I need maps of the town, population data, etc.
Oh, sorry for double posting. I also need detailed information on MI5's command structure (esp. as it relates to the freedom of action of agents assigned to a mission), jurisdiction, enforcement powers, etc. Also the resignation polacy with regards to people with classified clearence. Are they ever fired? What, theoretically, would an agent need to do to get him/herself fired without imprisonment?
I got all of my MI5 questions answered. Now I have to redue my plot a little. The other ones still need answers.
